Pakistan has logged 19 more Covid-19 infections with no fatality during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Monday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the NIH data, the death toll in the country remained the same at 30,640 whereas the number of total infections now rose to 1,576,397 after adding the fresh 18 cases.

During the last 24 hours (Sunday), 3,953 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio stood at 0.48 percent. The number of patients in critical care stood at 14.
Covid cases in India
Sunday kicked off on a happy note in India when no new cases of Covid-19 were reported. However, on Monday, the streak came to an end when 113 new cases of coronavirus were reported – but on the bright side, there were no new deaths. This increased the current active case tally to 1815.
On Monday, 88 people were discharged from the hospital while 38,293 new vaccination doses were administered.
This increased the total number of vaccinations to over 220 crores since the immunisation drive started in January 2021.
