Sharmin Segal's surprising turnaround: Extols Aditi's assistance despite prior altercation

Sharmin Segal has been the target of immense hate since the release of ‘Heeramandi’ and has been lambasted for her alleged disrespectful demeanor towards her co-stars, notably Aditi Rao Hydari.
People started to nitpick on Sharmin's interviews and called her out for being rude to her co-stars.
In one such video interaction, Sharmin called her co-star, Aditi Rao Hydari, a 'school girl' for being punctual. This wasn't received well by the audience, which criticised the actress left, right, and center.
Sharmin recently sat for an interview with Instant Bollywood, wherein she was asked about her bond with her Heeramandi co-stars.
The actress revealed that throughout the shoot, there were times when Aditi helped her. She was there with Sharmin all along the way and would look out for her. Aditi would fix her hair and make her shooting experience a lot easier. In Sharmin's words:
"There were so many times when Aditi helped me, was checking on me, making sure I was ok, while we were shooting. Just like fixing my hair for me, sometimes when it used to come on my face before a shot. She was always very helpful."
Netizens are, however, still not impressed with Sharmin and accuse her of trying to do damage control. They feel like, Sharmin is trying to clear her image by praising her co-stars.
Earlier, in a video shared on Reddit, Sharmin can be seen disrespecting Aditi Rao Hydari. Calling Aditi a 'school girl', Sharmin took a sarcastic dig at the former's punctuality, portraying her as overly rigid. The Malaal actress can be heard saying:
"Aditi is a good school girl, please understand that. Teacher will say you have to submit your home work at this time and Aditi will do exactly that and not one more word than the word count limit. That is Aditi for you. So, according to her everyone is late and she is on time."

Earlier, a video of Sharmin Segal surfaced online, wherein she was seen getting into a disagreement with Aditi Rao Hydari over her statement about actors. In the clip, Sharmin was heard saying, “Actor ki jaat insecure hoti hai.” However, her statement didn't go down well with Aditi, who immediately disagreed with her and interjected, “Nahi but actors are human beings.” Sharmin further tried to clarify her stance and mentioned that insecurity brings out the best in every actor. Reacting to Sharmin's comment, Aditi said:
“No no, insecurity is horrible. No, I don’t like it.”

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sharmin divulged that initially, she was a little uneasy over the massive amount of hate she received. But with time, she stopped paying attention to it and focused on positivity.
