Pakistan records low coronavirus infectivity ratio

The number of everyday Covid-19 tests has plunged as Pakistan reported just 38 more coronavirus infections and no death during the last 24 hours, showed the figures released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The death toll in the country remained the same at 30,626 whereas the number of total infections now rose to 1,574,364 after adding the fresh 38 cases.

During the last 24 hours, 7,182 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio edged up to 0.53 percent. The number of patients in critical care was 47.
