The upsets could not be stopped on the fifth day of the 46th National Snooker Championship being held in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV on Wednesday.

Muhammad Asif, the defending champion from Group A, and Babar Masih from Group H played five matches and won all.

According to tournament director Naveed Kapadia, Babar Masih defeated Sultan Mohammad, Haris Tahir defeated Asjad Iqbal, M Javed Ansari defeated Yaqub Khan, Wasim Abbas defeated Mohammad Naseem Akhtar, Mohammad Faizan defeated Mohammad Saleem, Amir Shehzad defeated Ibrahim Khan, Mohammad Bilal defeated Abdul Javed, Sheikh. M Mudassir defeated Muhammad Imran. 

Moreover, Ali Hamza got a walkover against Ahmad Shah.

The tournament director says that new talent is emerging from the event. He added: "Eleven century breaks have been made in five days."

According to Naveed Kapadia, only defending champions Muhammad Asif and Babar Masih are unbeaten in the tournament so far.
