Balochistan's political crisis has intensified as the deadline given to Chief Minister Jam Kamal by the angry MPAs is ending today, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday.
The deadlock still lingers between Chief Minister Jam Kamal and angry members and the efforts to convince the MPAs have failed.
The 15-day agreement between Chief Minister Jam Kamal and the angry MPAs will expire at midnight today. Sources said that the CM has failed to convince angry members while on the other hand, he is making efforts to save his seat.
Jam Kamal had a long meeting with Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Parliamentary Leader of PTI Balochistan wherein MPAs from allied parties and provincial ministers were present also present. The political situation in the province was discussed in detail during the meeting.
On the other hand, the disgruntled group of MPAs also held an important meeting last night and decided to stick to the minus Jam Kamal formula. They are not backing down from CM Jam Kamal's resignation demand.
Both sides have speeded up the efforts to defeat each other. Jam Kamal will meet his supporting ministers again while the angry MPAs’ group has started contacts and meetings with allied parties, including the opposition.
The group comprises 14 MPs, including Speaker Abdul Qaddos Bizenjo and provincial ministers.
Reportedly, three 3 ministers and two advisors of the CM have decided to resign from the provincial cabinet. Zahoor Buledi, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, and Asad Baloch have submitted resignations on Wednesday.
