Differently-abled persons protest against ‘authorities’ inability’ continue for 13 days

The visually impaired people continued their protest for 13 days, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.
The protesters have been demanding a job quota and regularization.
On the 13th day, they marched to the office of Social Welfare DG from Club Chowk at Shimla Pahari Chowk.

Four days ago, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of a clash between police and protesters when the former barred the latter from marching to the Governor House. According to a handout the chief minister asked the chief secretary to negotiate with the protesters and resolve the issue.
