Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment Razak Dawood cautioned that there may be gas shortages in winters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
In a tweet, he said, “We are now heading into the winter and there may be gas shortages.”
Razak Dawood said the government has decided that for the Export-Oriented Industry, there will be no outages of gas supply.

Earlier, Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh said that this is the third winter during the tenure of the PTI-led government at the Centre and again this time people are facing a gas crisis.
He said that the federal government is in a state of confusion over the issue. In a statement, he said that all tall claims and promises made by the federal energy minister last year proved to be false. “The gas crisis is being aggravated by incompetent rulers and their failed policies,” he claimed.
