The Pakistan Democratic Movement leadership Monday vowed to hold the December 13 rally at Minar-e-Pakistan at all costs and ruled out any change in the venue, reported 24NewsGD TV Channel.

PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said the people have expressed mistrust against the ‘incompetent’ government and now rulers will have to accept the decision of the people.

Rana Sanaullah was addressing a press conference along with PPP leader Qamar Zaman Karia in Model Town, Lahore after a meeting of PDM Punjab leadership Lahore.

The meeting was attended by PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira, PML-N leaders Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Khawaja Saad Rafique.

Provincial leaders of other parties including Saleemullah Qadri also attended the meeting.

The Punjab chapter leadership of the opposition alliance discussed the arrangements for the December 13 public meeting and attendance of workers was also discussed.

PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the people of Pakistan are fed up with the government and this government is not a democratic government.

Kaira said that December 13 PDM jalsa will be a historic one and this PTI government has to go now. Kaira said all the options included in 26-point agenda of the PDM will be esecuted including the resignation options.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement will hold Jalsa in Lahore on December 13 and force the Prime Minister to submit the resignation.

It is pertinent to note that Prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday said that the government would not interrupt public gatherings of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) but warned that legal action would be taken against organizers and facilitators of these gatherings as they were endangering the lives of people amid surge of coronavirus cases.
