In a revolutionary step, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has abolished tuition fee of Kashmiri students studying in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
As many as 200 Kashmiri students will also be given laptops.
Traffic police have been issued instructions for issuance of driving licences to these Kashmiri students.
A Kashmiri students’ delegation studying in Punjab met with Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The delegation appreciated the ceremonies and functions held in the province to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
Fateha was offered for the people killed in Turkiye due to recent earthquake.
Bank of Punjab has been ordered to open the accounts of Kashmiri students. The Kashmiri students thanked the caretaker chief minister.
