Weather to remain cold and dry, says Met Office

The weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country, Meteorological Department said on Wednesday.

The Met Office added that the weather in Islamabad is likely to be cold while Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Kohat, Kurram, Parachinar, Haripur and Abbottabad are expected to experience rain with strong winds and thundershowers.

It will remain cloudy in southern districts of Punjab, Meteorological Department said, adding that Murree and surrounding areas may experience light rain and light snowfall during the night.

Rain with thunder is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Harnai, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Chaman, Ziarat and Pishin while the weather will remain dry in most districts of Sindh.

Kashmir will remain partly cloudy, the Met Department said, adding that in Gilgit-Baltistan, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder and snowfall in the mountains.
