Federal Cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the export of 100 goats to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a special permit.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the cabinet has given such approval through a circulation summary on Tuesday because the export of goats is banned from 2020 in the country.
The channel report said that the Foreign Ministry had forwarded a summary of the export of the goats to the UAE on the special request of the Emirate’s Embassy in Islamabad to the cabinet.
As per the report, the goats will be exported to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan from Rahim Yar Khan Airport by a special aircraft.
