Imran should borrow some courage from Zardari: Sherry

March 7, 2023 04:49 PM

Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman berated Imran Khan for her persistent absence from court hearings, saying the PTI chief is refusing to respond to questions in the court after he previously requested a public hearing of the Toshakhana case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Ms Rehman schooled the PTI chief, stating, “No criminal receives as much comfort and privileges from the courts as Ladla Khan is getting. Why are legal and judicial principles not the same for all?”

She added that Mafroor Khan is the same person who had sent all political opponents to jail for revenge in the past.

She urged Imran Khan to borrow some courage from politicians like Asif Ali Zardari who boldly and courageously offered their arrest in fabricated cases.

Continuing to take a dig at the deposed premier, Sherry Rehman claimed, “Imran hid himself in a room to avoid arrest. After the police had departed her house, he lectured the people on the morality.”
