Colonel (Retired) Shaheen Iqbal, principal of the Frontier Homeopathic Medical College, Peshawar, claimed on Thursday that homeopathic treatment could help prevent coronavirus infection.

Addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Thursday, Shaheen said that homeopathic medicine, Arsenic Alb 30, increases human immunity and coronavirus cannot attack people having a strong immunity. He said the government should help homeopathic institutions do more research on the subject.

The college head said that homeopathic institutions could offer this medicine to the public free of cost if the government extends help to them. He said that this medicine has been tested successfully in the neighbouring country.
