A five-year-old girl was raped in tehsil Dokri of Larkana district when she went to a neighbouring shop to buy sweets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Soon after the incident, victim’s father Niaz Kulhoro reached the police station and complained that Suhnu Shah, the shopkeeper, had raped his girl. “My daughter complained of body ache when she returned home from the shop,” her father told police.

SHO Dokri Altaf Wudho said soon after registration of the case, police took two persons into custody and issued a letter for conducting medical tests of the child.

He added further action would be taken once the medical report of the victim was received.
