Centre’s education institutes start fundraising for Turkey-Syria tremor victims

The Federal Ministry for education Thursday initiated fundraising activity with students for the Earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The funds raised from the schools by the Federal education ministry will go to the Prime Minister’s relief fund for the Earthquake victims.

The activity was started from five federal education ministry schools in Islamabad and all the teachers and students participated in the campaign very actively. The administrations of the schools and colleges urged every student to donate at least Rs10 for the victims.

Education Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the campaign will be spread to all the other federal institutes in the next step. No effort will be spared for the aid of the victims and we should continue to provide relief to them until they fully recover.

Secretary IBCC said that we are trying our best to deliver relief goods to our brothers and sisters in Turkey and Syria.
