Four robbers allegedly involved in multiple cases were killed in a shootout in the Ghulam Muhammadabad area of Faisalabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

According to police, the members of Dolphin Squad were patrolling the area when they asked the bike riders to stop, who instead opened fire at them. It triggered a gunfight that resulted in the killing of four robbers.

The dead criminals had committed four robberies in Jhang Bazaar and Raza Abad late in the night.

Later, two of the victims of these robberies identified the criminals, as the police said they had also recovered the looted money and items from the dead criminals.
