Veteran TV, film actress Talat Siddiqui breathes her last

Veteran television and film actress Talat Siddiqui, mother of actress Arifa Siddiqui and aunt of singer Fariha Pervez, breathed her last on late Saturday night. She was 82, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Talat Siddiqui had worked in a number of TV plays and films but she had sidelined herself from work for last 30 years.

Born in Simla (India) in 1939, Talat Siddiqui shot to fame due to her work on radio.

Her hit films were Dilnasheen, Haider Sultan and Kaliya.
