National Assembly adopts resolution condemning ex-PM s anti-army remarks

The National Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution condemning former prime minister Imran Khan's anti-military remarks, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi presented the resolution that sailed through the lower house of the parliament.
PM Sharif yesterday announced that the government will take legal action against Imran Khan's speech a conspiracy against Pakistan.
The state of Pakistan, the constitution, and national institutions were challenged in Abbottabad and legal action will be taken, he said, adding that Mir Jaffer and Mir Sadiq are the persons who hatched the conspiracy against the national institutions.
The prime minister said Imran Khan is not doing politics, he is concocting a plot against Pakistan. “Earlier, Imran Niazi hatched a conspiracy to damage the economy and now concocted a plot to cause a civil war,” PM Shehbaz said adding that such attempts will be thwarted.
“We will not allow him to become Hitler of Pakistan. Imran Niazi lied a lot, now he has to face the truth," he added.
