A tumor weighing six kilograms has been removed from the uterus of a woman after a delicate surgery by doctors at Narowal Government Hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to doctors, the life of 45-year-old Mehnaz, resident of Mojpur, was in danger due to a 21-centimeter tumor weighing six kilograms.

This was the first successful operation of its kind in the history of the headquarters hospital, said Dr Tabsum Rasheed, who along with Dr Zeib-ul-Nisa and Dr Hadiya Farooq participated in the surgery.

The citizens commended the team of doctors for the successful operation.

The patient was now said to be out of danger after the successful surgery.
