Federal Minister Federal Minister for Board of Investment & Special Initiatives Chaudhry Salik Hussain Saturday held a meeting with former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif in London and held political discussions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media after his meeting, Ch Salik said they had discussed old times and the current political situation.

He said he met Nawaz Sharif upon his father Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain’s directive to extend his greetings and well wishes to Nawaz Sharif.

He said Moonis Elahi did not take Ch Shujaat into confidence before joining hands with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to form the Punjab government.

He said Moonis can contact him whenever he wants and he has no reservations.

Salik said the previous government had terminated the CPEC authority before leaving.

He said Nawaz Sharif has not given any final date regarding his return to the country.

Regarding PTI’s decision to dissolve provincial assemblies, Salik said it does not seem that there is an intention to break the assemblies.

He said Ch Shujaat Hussain will lead the party in the upcoming action.

Earlier upon his arrival, Chaudhry Salik Hussain was received by Hasan Nawaz.
