Rain forecast for parts of Punjab

The Met Office on Friday forecast rain in parts of Punjab on Saturday (January 11).

According to the forecast, there are chances of rain with thunderstorm in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Pakpatan and Khanewal areas of Punjab on Saturday. The Met Office forecast overcast but dry weather in other districts of the province.

In Murree and the surrounding areas, the Met Office has forecast extreme cold and snowfall with light rain. Southern and central areas of Punjab will remain under the blanket of fog.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, weather will remain cold and partially overcast. Mountainous regions will remain in the grip of the ongoing cold wave. Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and the surrounding areas will receive fog in the morning.

In Balochistan, weather will remain dry and cold while mountainous regions will witness extreme fog in the morning and evening.

In Sindh, weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the province.

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, weather will remain extremely cold and partially overcast.
