Rain likely in Murree, AJK, parts of Gilgit Baltistan, KP and Balochistan

Met office says cold and dry and cloudy weather likely to grip the most parts of country during next 24 hours

Met office says cold and dry weather is likely to grip the most parts of the country with chances of more snowfall and rain in Azad Kashmir, Murree, Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan during the next 24 four hours, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

However, fog will continue to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh. During the next 24 hours, weather in Islamabad and adjoining areas will remain cloudy and chances of rain with cold winds. 

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province there is chance of moderate to heavy rain and snowfall with strong gusty winds in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Bunir, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram and Waziristan. There are chances of drizzle with strong winds in Peshawar, Haripur, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Bannu, Karak, Hangu and Kohat district. 

In Punjab province, light rain is likely in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mianwali and Khushab district while weather will remain cloudy and chilly in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Awakara, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Pakpattan, Khanewal, Vehari, Faisalabad, TT Singh, Jhang and surrounding areas. 

Light to heavy rain and snowfall with strong gusty winds ae expected in Quetta, Mastung, Ziarat, Chaman, Pashin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Chagai, Nushki, Kalat, Harnai, Zhob and Musa Khel districts. Meanwhile, Barkhan, Panjgur, Turbat, Jiwani and Gwadar will also experience winds and light rain. 

Cold and dry weather is expected in most of the districts of Sindh province. Medium to heavy fog is expected in Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Dadu, Larkana, Khairpur, Tandogjam and surrounding areas during the morning/night hours. 

The minimum lowest temperature recorded on Sunday was in Leh minus 9, Skardu, Malam Jabba minus 4, Astore, Hunza and Parachinar recorded minus 03 degree celsius.
