Police in Karachi arrest man for dumping wife's body in drum

Police in Karachi on Sunday arrested a man who had thrown the body of his wife in a drum after murdering her, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to Korangi Industrial Area police, Babu Muhammad, son of Noor Muhammad, a resident of Chanesar Goth, strangulated his wife, identified as Shazia, by placing a pillow on her face.

And later after murdering her, he threw her body in a drum in Allah Wala Town, the police said, adding that cops chased him as he was on his way back and arrested him.

In his statement given to the police, the man admitted that he had killed his wife, saying she was of bad character.
