Taking precautionary measures against the coronavirus epidemic, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Monday banned Eidi to protect children from coronavirus.

Covid-19 spreads through currency notes or gift items as the coronavirus stayed alive more than three hours on papers.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NECDMA) of UAE announced various precautionary measures on Eidul Fitr to control the Covid-19 in the country.

Children receive cash as Eidi from their elders on the festival and after collecting a sufficient amount they buy their favourite toys and food items.
