Punjab IGP punishes DSPs appearing for pardon

Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Faisal Shahkar Saturday, while hearing the appeals of 12 Deputy Superintendents (DSP) who came to be pardoned, punished all of them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Punjab IGP while hearing the appeals of the DSPs, dismissed one from the Job, demoted one from his rank and withheld a whole year’s salary of one of the DSPs.

The DSPs who appeared in IGP’s order room were Babar Ali, Nasrullah Khan, Muhammad Khalid Malik, Fayyaz Ahsan, Naeem Virk, Zahid Naeem, Imran Mushtaq Malik, Saleem Akhtar, Aijaz Hussain, Saleem-Ullah, Nasir Nawaz, Nasir Mushtaq, Muhammad Ramzan, Asif Rasheed and Farrukh Javed.

The Punjab IGP dismissed Muhammad Khalid Malik from his job, demoted Babar Ali from his rank and withheld Nasrullah Khan’s salary for one whole year. 

The Inspector sanctioned the other DSPs and reduced their salaries for specific periods of time.

The DSPs appeared in IGP's order room to be pardoned for the punishments given by the officers.
