Armed suspects shot dead a man and his son in the limits of police station Kathiala Sheikhan in Mandi Bahauddin, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to police, another son of the murdered man was also injured in the firing of the armed persons.

The injured son has been shifted to the hospital for treatment.

Police said that the incident occurred due to an old enmity.

Police said that evidence is collected from the crime scene and investigations have been started.

The police said the accused managed to escape from the scene.
