Fazeela: Absolutely not. This is because the nature is trying to ward off the inflammation in form of the tiny pimples. But if you popped out that means you just spread it off upon your skin which is not supposed to be something you should be doing."

Myth 5: How can I prevent acne breakout?

Fazeela: "You need to hydrate and keep your skin moisturized. You have to use chemical free sun- screens. When to use retinol and when not to use retinol and how to take care of your hormones especially in females and there are certain drugs which can give you acne breakouts. There are makeup products, sunscreens that can give you acne breakouts. A very realistic way to looking at your acne breakout is going to give you solution to keeping it at bay to control."

Fazeela: "Stress is going to elevate the cortisol level. The cortisol is a hormone which is produced by the Adrenal glands which is sitting on top of your kidneys and its going to start triggering the acne in your skin. So, its all scientific and hormone related and it is going to suppress certain hormones which are supposed to be good for your skin."

Myth 7: I should use a lot of SPF (Sun Protection Factors)?

Fazeela: First of all, you need to understand that there are physical sun screens then there are chemical sun screens. Chemical sunscreens might become obsolete in near future. A lot of people get well versed with the concept of physical sun screens. Physical sun screens do not have harmful chemicals."
