Lahore General Hospital new MS assumes charge

Prof. Dr. Nudrat Sohail has assumed the charge of Medical Superintendent (MS) of Lahore General Hospital (LGH), the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
On Thursday, CM Mohsin Naqvi changed the MS of LGH Dr. Khalid Bin Aslam over poor and faulty arrangements and posted Dr. Nudrat Sohail as medical superintendent.
According to a statement, after assuming the charge, Dr. Nudrat conducted a detailed visit to various departments of the hospital including emergency.
She also met with Principal Prof Dr. Al Farid Zafar and expressed her determination to meet the expectations of the government and people.
Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Dr. AL Fareed advised monitoring the performance of AMS and DMS on a regular basis in order to have smooth the functioning of the healthcare facility.
On this occasion, important decisions were also made to provide the best medical facilities to the patients, which will be implemented immediately.
Prof Al Farid Zafar also advised Dr. Nudrat Sohail to run the administrative affairs of the hospital in an efficient manner.
“The MS should conduct rounds of emergency and other areas on a daily basis and immediate action should be taken where any lapses are found.
