Jamiat Ulema Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has reiterated his demand for a fresh election.

“In the current circumstances, there is no solution other than fresh elections,” he said.

He added: “We are not the persons who resign from the assemblies. We are the people who play our part in assemblies.”

Asked if a PDM-like alliance with the PTI is in the making, he said: “Let’s wait and see.

He went on to say: “For PTI, it is a ceasefire from our side. We are not talking about the past.”

“Everyone from the PTI comes out of jail and claims Khan Sahib said this.

Fazl rubbished the report of sending any query, saying this was a YouTuber’s mischievousness.
