Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked both the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to review their policies.

Addressing a press conference in Rahim Yar Khan, Fazl said he likes for others what he likes for himself. He said that everyone has the right to holding rallies and protest demonstrations. He said that confrontation and resistance were seen in Islamabad in recent days. He said the JUI-F also held a protest demonstration in Islamabad, but it did not do any damage to the capital city. He said that high-profile politicians and ordinary people have the same national identity cards. He said that his party believes in equality.

He said that Pakistan should go for re-elections and form a government elected by people. He said the government was not registering the religious schools operating under the supervision of foreign institutions. He said that religious schools introduce the world to Islamic teachings and preferences. He said the JUI-F believes in dialogue and a logical debate. He said that matters related to religious schools were decided, but the decision was not being implemented.

The JUI-F chief said the situation in Kurram is terrible as people of Shia and Sunni sects came to him and inform him about that. He said the current war in the country has been going on for more than 20 years now. He said the JUI-F wanted to convene a Jirga to solve the Kurram issue, but it did not fine a conducive environment for this. He said that everyone wanted to work for peace in the country.
