The visit by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to Pakistan has been delayed by more than a month, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Sources told 24News TV channel that now the Saudi crown prince could visit Pakistan immediately after Eidul Azha.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had given an invitation to Muhammad bin Salman during his recent visit to the kingdom.

Spokesperson for the Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that once finalized, the new schedule of the crown prince’s visit will be shared with the media.

According to media reports, the Saudi crown prince was expected to visit Pakistan this month. His visit was initially scheduled for late 2022 but faced delays due to political uncertainties and Pakistan’s elections.

Prior to his arrival, a delegation of influential Saudi businessmen had visited Pakistan and engaged in discussions with Pakistani counterparts to explore investment opportunities.
