Juggan Kazim addresses criticism over kissing ASP Shehrbano's hands

Remarkable Pakistani television host and actress Juggan Kazim appeared as a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast 'Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt' where she addressed the criticism she had faced after kissing Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shehrbano Naqvi's hands in her morning show.
This happened when Shehrbano saved a woman from an angry mob and the video went viral on social media.
Now, clarifying her gesture Kazim said that her gesture was a mark of respect and gratitude towards ASP Shehrbano for her efforts against domestic abuse. Recalling her past experiences with abuse in a previous relationship, Kazim explained that she felt compelled to thank the officer, who has been actively supporting victims of similar situations.
Talking further about it, she said, “I was not ready for the backlash because I had no idea, I was in awe of the action that she took for the women. I thanked her, I swear, I had no agenda. I was just nice. I am generally a cordial person”
