Remarkable Pakistani television host and actress Juggan Kazim appeared as a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast 'Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt' where she addressed the criticism she had faced after kissing Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shehrbano Naqvi's hands in her morning show.

This happened when Shehrbano saved a woman from an angry mob and the video went viral on social media.

Now, clarifying her gesture Kazim said that her gesture was a mark of respect and gratitude towards ASP Shehrbano for her efforts against domestic abuse. Recalling her past experiences with abuse in a previous relationship, Kazim explained that she felt compelled to thank the officer, who has been actively supporting victims of similar situations.

Talking further about it, she said, “I was not ready for the backlash because I had no idea, I was in awe of the action that she took for the women. I thanked her, I swear, I had no agenda. I was just nice. I am generally a cordial person”

“I am not related to her nor my husband is related to her. They also associate me with Mohsin Naqvi but I haven’t met that gentleman in my real life. I am not related to him I have nothing bad to say about him because I am not here to indulge in a political debate. I am only concerned about entertainment. If Mohsin Naqvi is my husband’s brother then why has my career instantly become questionable?
 
"Is it fair? I got a job at 24 News and people called me out that I got work because of my connections. I had to resign from 24 News because everyone started talking about it”, she said.
