Groom pays Rs2,000 SALAMI to traffic wardens

In an incident that will surely make his marriage a worth-remembering event, a bridegroom in Lahore had to pay Rs2, 000 when he was caught driving a car without license by traffic wardens on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It is pertinent to mention here that banners are displayed at different points in the city, warning the motorists of a challan in case they are caught driving vehicles without licenses. 

Meanwhile, CTO Lahore has ordered speeding up the crackdown on drivers who bring their cars on roads and who do not have licenses with them.
