Imported electric cars destroyed in Sakrand accident

A dozen electric cars were destroyed when the trawler they were loaded on met an accident on National Highway near Sakrand on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The imported electric cars were being taken to Lahore from Karachi.
According to Motorway Police, the trawler carrying the electric vehicles turned turtle near Deenu Machine Stop on National Highway.
The electric cars, loaded on the trawler, were imported from South Korea and were due to be launched in Pakistan for the first time. However, they were all destroyed in the accident.
These were the first charging cars that were brought to Pakistan. A single electric car almost cost nine million rupees.
