Peshawar Zalmi have posted 179-8 in the allotted 20 overs, setting Islamabad United 180-run target in the 29th match of the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Peshawar Zalmi’s opener Mohammad Haris scored 79 runs in 39 balls. He had hit seven fours and five sixes.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa contributed 41 runs in 25 balls. He had hit four fours and two sixes.
Islamabad United Pacer Hasan Ali bagged three wickets, whereas, captain Shadab Khan claimed two scalps for Islamabad.
The match between the two teams is being played at Rawalpindi cricket stadium.
Earlier, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bowl against Peshawar Zalmi.
Peshawar Zalmi had named English cricketer Tom Kohler-Cadmore as the team’s skipper for today’s match after captain Babar Azam was dropped as he was feeling unwell.
