T20 World Cup semi-final was the most important match for Pakistan and it was a roller-coaster ride but despite green shirts’ best efforts, they did not manage to handle the pressure in last three overs.
Pakistan’s pacer Hassan Ali dropped the most important catch of Matthew Wade towards the end of the match. The Australian batsman then capitalised on this reprieve by picking off three consecutive sixes off Shaheen Afridi and led his team to the T20 World Cup final.
It was the match and Pakistanis did not take it easy on the online world. Many fans were disappointed and bashed Hassan Ali for dropping the catch, saying, “Hassan Ali didn’t drop the catch, he dropped the world cup.”

On the other hand, a large number of fans also supported Hassan Ali by saying, “We win together, and we lose together.” Fans also reminded fellow-fans that at the end of the day it was the game and it was the time to support the green shirts.
