Atta crisis intensifies in Karachi, flour mills stop supply for indefinite period

Atta crisis has intensified in Karachi as all the flour mills of the city stopped the flour supply for an indefinite period on Thursday night.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the supply of flour in Karachi is completely stopped, and there is fear of the worst flour crisis in the city.
The channel report said the Karachi Flour Mills Association representatives said all flour mills across the city are closed on Thursday night at 8:00 pm for an indefinite period.
The report said soon after the announcement of the strike by the flour mills association, the price of Atta (flour) increased by more than Rs20 per kg in the city.
On the other hand, the Flour Mills Association representatives said that they were shutting down their mills indefinitely from today and the millers will not be responsible for the flour crisis in Karachi.
