IPP core body affirms support for Tareen, Aleem leadership

The Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Tuesday demonstrated unwavering confidence in the leadership of Jahangir Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The IPP central council granted full authority to the party chairman and president to engage in consultations with other political entities.
During the meeting, consensus was achieved on continuing seat adjustments and addressing various electoral matters in coordination with other political parties.
The IPP central leaders also decided to establish a specialized board to address the political dynamics in Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan.
To enhance intra-party coordination, special committees have been instituted, comprising divisional presidents, to engage in consultations within each constituency of Punjab and Islamabad.
The meeting witnessed the participation of all Central Executive Committee members. They held discussions covering a wide array of issues and viewpoints.
The meeting saw Jahangir Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan expressing their openness to the concerns and suggestions of their colleagues.
The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party is committed to making decisions through mutual consultation and consensus, ensuring the active involvement of all members, they added.
Prominent figures such as Ishaq Khakwani, Amir Kayani, Mehmood Maulvi, Firdous Ashiq Awan, and Imran Ismail actively participated in the CEC meeting. Aoon Chaudhry, Munaza Hasan, Nauman Langriyal, Shoaib Siddiqui, Zaheer Uddin, and Murad Ras were also present.
