Islamabad United owner Ali Naqvi, head coach Mike Hesson, and all-rounder Salman Ali Agha shared their thoughts in a press conference regarding the team's preparations and selections for the upcoming season.
Salman Ali Agha highlighted the team's strategic approach, noting, “Islamabad United always ensures it has a strong pool of all-rounders.” He also addressed the pressure of being defending champions, saying, “There is always pressure, but we are determined to perform better and defend the tile.
Coach Mike Hesson expressed satisfaction with the draft process, stating, “We are pleased with the players we have selected so far.
"I am confident Islamabad United will play great cricket in the PSL 10 season as well.”
Owner Ali Naqvi shared his excitement about Faheem Ashraf’s selection in the Platinum Category.
“Faheem Ashraf has been a valuable player for our team since his second season,” he said. “We anticipated that another team might pick him in the Platinum Category, but we are thrilled that he was selected there by us.”
