Two brothers were dead, other one seriously injured in a fatel attack from unidentified armed persons near Sargodha Morr in Mianwali on Monday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the residents of Gulemiri were riding the motorcycle when unknown assailants unleashed a hail of bullets in their direction.

Resultantly, the gunfire claimed the lives of two brother named Azizullah Khan and Hafeezullah Khan while their sibling Zafarullah Khan sustained severe injuries.

Locals immidiately shifted the injured person to hospital where his condition was critical. The gunmen escaped from the scene after the attack.

Upon receiving information, the District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali Matiullah Khan arrived at the crime spot and ordered the police team to start investigation of the incident.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) along with the Circle Officer and Station House Officer (SHO) of Sadar Police Station are also present at the site to gather evidence from the spot.
