British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner wore Pakistan and England team t-shirt and revealed which side he is supporting ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 match at Melbourne. 

He said: “We have waited thirty years for history to repeat itself. England’s batting and Pakistan’s bowling have no parallel, just like Pak-UK friendship.”

“My heart beats for England. But if Pakistan did what they did in 1992, then I might have to sing, Dil Dil Pakistan.”

Information Minister Marriyum responded to the British HC tweet and said: "We are proud to have you as the Ambassador. Wish England the very best for the final today. The match will end but your message will resonate in our hearts forever."
