Two Pakistani students were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Kyrgyzstan on Sunday. 

Reports say that deceased Waqar Ahmad and Muhammad Zain Latif were studying at the Kyrgyzstan State Medical Academy.

Those injured were identified as Muhammad Zeeshan, Shams-ul-Islam Imrani and Muhammad Asghar. Zeeshan and Shams-ul-Islam are said to be in a critical condition and they are being treated at the National Hospital in Bishkek.

The families of the deceased students have been informed about their death and the Pakistani Embassy in Bishkek is making arrangements to transport the bodies of these students to Pakistan. 

Reports say that staff of the Pakistani Embassy in Bishkek went to the National Hospital to inquire after the injured students. They also informed the families of the injured students about their health condition. 

According to Kyrgyz media, the accident took place due to speeding. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a pole. The vehicle broke into two pieces after the accident.
