Govt defends PIA CEO in report submitted to SC

The federal government has submitted a report in the Supreme Court about the appointment of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Air Marshal Arshad Mahmood Malik.

According to the report, Arshad Malik was appointed on merit as he had a wide experience of administrative affairs including the Air Force.

The airline’s revenue surged 44 percent after the appointment of Arshad Malik as the CEO of PIA.
