Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the PDM is facing a bleak future as the threat of resignations has ended in a fiasco and Islamabad sit-in will also be a political mirage for them.
In a statement issued here on Friday, she said the PDM leadership was unconcerned about the safety of people, adding that anarchistic political designs of the ‘princess’ have been dampened. She said two bondmaids are deputed to wail every day. Also, the ‘prince’ and the ‘princess’ have again betrayed the Maulana, she said.
Dr Firdous claimed that the PDM chief would get nothing from the PDM except political frustration as the rejected elements were deceiving each other. She asserted that the negative politics of the PDM was buried and those giving dates had to eat a humble pie. The PTI government will complete its constitutional tenure, she continued.
The special assistant said the stinking narrative of the PDM had died a natural death while Calus of Cabal, which played havoc with the lives of people during the coronavirus pandemic, was left high and dry.
Dr Firdous said that due to the negative behaviour of this Calus, the pandemic intensified and the total number of patients reached 147,953 in Punjab alone. A total of 2,669,951 tests have been conducted so far, she added. Similarly, 661 new cases were reported, 22 patients died and 14,710 corona tests were conducted in last 24 hours, she concluded.
