Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan expressed optimism about the ongoing negotiations with the government, stating, "I hope the process will soon conclude, and we will have some good news."
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, he talked to the media outside the district and session court on Wednesday and emphasised that if the government approaches talks with sincerity and seriousness, all issues can be resolved.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar confirmed that the third session of talks with the government is scheduled for tomorrow under the chair of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. He said PTI will submit its demands in writing during the meeting.
The PTI chairman criticised the numerous cases filed against the party's founder, Imran Khan, describing him as a political prisoner who deserves freedom.
"For democracy and political stability, it is essential to release and provide relief to political detainees," he remarked.
Addressing the ongoing private complaint regarding the party's casualties, he revealed, "We had earlier mentioned 12 martyrs and 49 injured, but two more have succumbed to their injuries."
He added, "We will update the court with this data of 14 casualties, following which further action will proceed."
Barrister Gohar reiterated the importance of recognising the sacrifices of PTI’s members and ensuring justice for the wounded and fallen.
