Pakistani film titans clash over a packet of chips

Pakistan film industry’s two big heavyweights Shaan Shahid and Humayun Saeed on Wednesday clashed on twitter over “a packet of chips”.

First, famous actor Humayun Saeed posted on Twitter a photo of a packet of chips named after his hit TV series ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ and laughed.

And since the character of Saeed had become favourite in the public, the packet of chips even showed his and Ayeza Khan’s photos printed on it.

However, actor Shaan Shahid wasn’t happy with Saeed’s caption on the picture.

The Waar actor wrote, “That’s the love of the people in their own way. Always accept it brother.”

But Saeed explained how he did not mean to be rude or sound derogatory.

Humayun said, “This was not mockery, brother; I was laughing to express my happiness only.”

He further said: “I am who I am because of the love of our people, there's no way I can ever take that for granted, just like I can never take you for granted.”

To this Shahid simply responded with emojis, relaying his understanding of the actor’s intentions.
