Federal Science Minister Fawad Chaudhary taking the lead from the front yet again announced that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on Friday on 31st July 2020.
On his official twitter account, the Federal Science Minister shared this news: “As per calendar of @MinistryofST Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Fiday, 31st July 2020.”
He said: “On 21st July ZeAlHaj moon shall be visible over Karachi and it’s peripheral areas, “Ruet”App may also be used to ascertain exact location of the moon. #Eid”
Earlier Chairman Ruet E Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman sharing the Eid-ul Fitr announcement last month said Fawad Ch had no standing when it comes to moon sighting and Federal Science Minister should refrain himself from giving such statements, as it is purely the duty of Ruet E Hilal Committee.
However, Fawad Ch and his scientific calendar has been vindicated as Eid-ul-Fitr had been celebrated as per his scientific prediction against all odds and Pakistanis celebrated the auspicious event along with Saudi Arabia and other majority of Muslim countries on the same day.
