An earthquake hit Swat and its adjoining areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday,  24NewsHD TV channel reported

No loss of life was reported till the filing of this report. 

The earthquake's magnitude was recorded at 4.8 on the Richter scale, the Seismological Centre said, adding that its epicentre was the Hindu Kush mountain range and the depth was 185 km.

Locals came out of their houses and raced to safer places. A few days ago, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake hit Swat and its adjoining areas.
