A video of Pakistan’s cricket legend is making rounds on social media in which he shared an unusual experience of grooming cats.

He revealed something very interesting yet shocking about his pet cat telling about how much money he spends on it.

“With this kind of money, you could get 200 cats groomed in Pakistan”, he joked.

While on commentary duty for the ODI series between Pakistan and Australia in Australia, Akram shared a story that left the sports world—and his fellow commentators—in stitches.

In an amusing anecdote during a live broadcast, Wasim Akram revealed a jaw-dropping expense he incurred for his cat’s haircut.

The cost? A whopping 1,000 Australian dollars—roughly 185,000 Pakistani rupees. For perspective, that’s enough to snag a brand-new iPhone back home!

The grooming session was far from a typical cut-and-comb; it involved a full medical procedure including anesthesia and post-procedure care.

Here’s how the unusual bill broke down, as Akram detailed it on air:

105 AUD (Rs5,000) for a medical check-up

40 AUD (Rs2,000)for the actual haircut

120 AUD (Rs6,600)for post-procedure care

305 AUD (Rs15,000) for Anesthesia

Reacting to Akram’s statement, one of the social users wrote, “Talk about Indian men living abroad not paying a single penny for the haircut.”

Another user said, “Bro you go home your Mrs is gonna see you.”

A third user commented, “Was the cat in for a hair transplant or a haircut.”
