Ulema support Sindh govt lockdown

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Thursday met a delegation of religious figures to devise a strategy on coronavirus lockdown.

The clerics delegation comprised Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Mufti Abdi Mubarak, Mufti Rafi Rehman, Mufti Abid Saeed, Abdul Waheed, Dr Abdul Bari, Dr Adeel, Dr Saeed and others. Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani and Nasir Shah represented the government delegation.

The ulema delegation assured Sindh government of complete support during the lockdown. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced complete lockdown in the province tomorrow from 12 noon to 3PM. He said religious figures would call on Prime Minister Imran Khan tomorrow and devise SOPs for mosques.
